Evelyne ALMAYRAC

la biographie

Evelyne Almayrac was born in 1943 in the south of France.

It’s in Vallauris that she had her first encounter with the pottery world. She went to Madrid to take courses in modelling and various sculpting techniques with Pedro Pablo Gomez, a professor at the Official School of Ceramics in Madrid.

Evelyne Almayrac also took courses with Liliane Caumont at the Atelier Eucaliptos and many other remarkable intensive courses with Japanese masters.

In 1980, Evelyne Almeyrac began her professional life and set up her workshop in Spain dedicated entirely to ceramics.

In 1986, she won the First Prize of Ceramics from the city of Alcorcon. In 2000, her workshop received the Best Artisan Award from the Madrid Chamber of Commerce.

All her pieces are painted with porcelain powder and then fired at 1600 degrees.
